Talisker Storm – Gold colour. Powerful on the nose, clean and growing in complexity like an approaching storm. Sweet maltiness with ripe red berries moves into smoke, brine and a burst of pepper. Soft and rich on the palate, then very spicy: a pure and enveloping sweetness combines with a smoky note to embrace those spicier notes. Dryer and medium-long finish, with a persistent, soft aftertaste, in which light burnt embers of peat can be found.
