It is distilled through 2 "pot stills" and ages in American oak barrels for a period of between 3-4 years. The Akashi distillery owned by the Eigashima group is the oldest producer of sake from the Land of the Rising Sun and offers this blended whiskey with an authentic flavor, produced among other things in very limited quantities, since the distillation plant is only put into operation for a few months per year. Light amber in colour, the nose expresses itself on notes of barley malt, oak and vanilla. A pleasant floral complement plays the background of this blended. On the palate the taste is warm, deep and decidedly soft. Spicy hints, vanilla, oak and aromatic herbs stand out. The finish, moderately long, is fresh and satisfying.
