Paul John Peated Select Cask – Golden Mahogany. On the nose, smoky, sweet and earthy fragrances have soft resonances of spices. On the palate while the crunchy Muscovado and Demerara sugars create layered nuances, the smokiness of the Single Malt creeps in, creating a perfect balance. A hint of spice radiates from the Dominican-style hickory and cocoa. Delicate finish with notes of Dominican cocoa intertwined with the tart edge of the jam.
